Introduction
Leda Vannaclip Pty Ltd (Leda) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Leda Trading Pty Ltd. Head office is located at Tuggerah on the NSW Central Coast. Leda has been in operation since 1995 when it started with one bollard product and one staff member in Sydney. Since that time, Leda has grown to 55 full time staff across NSW, VIC, QLD and SA with hundreds of products with 4 major product ranges being bollards, gates, bike racks and now industrial overhead doors and loading dock equipment. In each range, Leda is a market leader.
Leda turns over approximately $12,000,000 per annum and has completed large jobs in excess of $2,000,000. Our client list is extensive and includes Federal, State and Local Governments, Major utility organizations, Large corporations, Engineering and property service corporations, Mine sites and many more. References are available on request. There are currently 55 full time staff at Leda under appropriate New Awards. In addition, a great number of sub-contractors are working with Leda every day on a variety of products and projects from installation and service through to design and engineering. All Leda staff are trained in the role they are to undertake. At the same time they are provided with the appropriate resources to assume the responsibility so as to undertake their role successfully and in keeping with all OH & S regulatory requirements.
A unique feature of Leda is our capabilities in the vehicle impact mitigation segment that specifically relates to Anti Terrorism equipment of many types. This capability is only possible through our close contacts in local and international agencies related to the design and installation of such equipment. Leda actively designs and tests its own products for manufacturing in Australia which is unique in many product areas. Leda test under the UK PAS68 standard and support the standards use. We have a strong R & D and footing detail focus. Our capabilities related to automation encompass the spectrum of our products related to all types of vehicle access control such as sliding gates, bifold gates, retractable bollards, boom gates and high speed doors for example. From design and installation through to service, Leda is extremely competent in providing automated solutions of all types.
In keeping with our focus of vehicle access control, Leda now supply and install the Crawford doors range of products including panel lift doors, dock shelters and dock levelers. Crawford are the largest provider of industrial door products in Europe and China with tens of thousands of doors installed worldwide over many decades. Our installation and service teams across Australia are ideally suited to supporting this exceptional range of door products. The Securabike bicycle parking range is the largest in Australia and encompasses a full range of bike racks, bike rails, bike cages and bike lockers. Our lockers have been installed across public transport systems in many states as part of the growth of bicycle use in Australia and we are proud to be a part of this important service. Securacare is a service and Maintenance program to provide our customers with the option of three levels of service care for their automated Leda products. In addition to our standard 12 month warranty, our products are amongst the best supported anywhere.
