Description
Bifold gates are a relatively new gate addition to Leda's range. The gates originally developed in Europe where space dictated its need as is now happening in our cities in Australia. The other main benefit is the speed in which the gates operate which can be as fast as 2-3 seconds. No other gates are as fast and this is even quicker than Leda's high speed doors. 

The two types of mechanical operation are with and now without track. The track makes for a more durable and secure bifold gate however on some sites an overhead track may not be practical. Additionally, Leda have two main drive motors to power the gates which is standard and high speed. Standard speed is similar to a swing gate for example at 10-12 seconds with a significant cost saving. The high speed motors can drive the gate at amazing speeds so safety is an important consideration our staff will discuss with you.
