Pedestrian gates for Hospitals

Leda in April 2011 assisted Shadow Security in Sydney to fit a strengthened pedestrian gate at the Geriatric ward in St George Private Hospital. The gates was intended to prevent any elderly people from leaving accidentally and was controlled by a magnetic lock which was in turn controller by a key pad for staff and visitors to use.

The design was specified by Paul Handley of Shadow Security and the electronic equipment was supplied by Shadow Security to the Leda factory to ensure it would fit at site. Additional gussets were specified to ensure the gate was strengthened for a long life.   This job illustrates the ability of security companies to use Leda’s metal fabrication facilities to enhance their services to clients whether the gates are for pedestrians or vehicles.

Leda’s design team are second to none and can work on bespoke designs.
