Position: Installation Project Coordinator

Location: Northmead, NSW

Leda Security Products is a successful national perimeter security company with 85+ staff and is seeking a highly motivated and well organised Installation Project Coordinator who will be based at our Northmead Office.

Our portfolio covers four key divisions

– Architectural and Security Bollards.

– Industrial Gates, Automation & Perimeter Security.

– Bike Parking facilities and enclosures.

– Industrial doors.

The Role

  • Coordinating the installation of Leda’s various products. These installations range from bike racks & shelters to high security gates & bollards, fencing and automated products. Typical sites range from high profile government and industrial locations to infrastructure jobs and small type locations.
  • As such the ability to deal with customers at various level is important.
  • Dealing with Leda installers and sub-contractors will require good people and management skills.
  • Occasionally, you may need to be using the tools assisting in installation as well as supervising works.
  • You will need to plan, solve and think on your feet and represent Leda with high level of professionalism.

After your initial training period there will be a transition in to learning our high security products. To complete this you will be required to complete a police clearance and security check.


  • You must have experience and had exposure to multiple trades, contracts and can work to deadlines.
  • Negotiating skills are an important asset when estimating and negotiating prices from sub-contractors and quoting directly to our customers.
  • Proven project coordination and leading hand experience is a must.
  • Understanding the dynamics of dealing with sales staff, production, customers and contractors is essential.
  • Being able to work in team environment is essential.
  • Any sub-contractors you bring to the Leda family will be highly regarded.


  • You will answer directly to the NSW State Manager.
  • You will have an admin assistant and a technician that report to you on a daily basis and access to Leda installation staffs.
  • Additionally a number of sub-contractors will be managed directly by you.
  • You will need to build and grow your team of sub-contractors so that you can call on them when required.
