Power and Water Bollards get Bigger

According to Leda, the Titan range is commonly used in area’s such as civic plaza’s, parks, outdoor area’s at sporting complexes, gold courses, farmers markets and markets in general.

The basic need met is that power and water distribution can be secured when both in use and not in use. The doors on the bollard have a small gap so users can unlock the door, plug in power for example and relock the door. This is an important security and safety requirement.

Previously, Leda used to supply Titan power bollards in 200 and 300NB sizes. The new larger 600mm diameter allows much more gear to be fitted reports Mr Steve Holder who adds, “we had issues before in getting some larger 3 phase and extended plugs into the smaller bollards.

The extra size now means we can get just about any power or water gear inside the bollard without any trouble of closing the door. The bollards in all sizes are available in mild or stainless steel. Hot dipped galvanising of the mild steel is a popular option as is grade 316 stainless steel as recently ordered by a coastal council in Queenslands far north.
